Dennis Lemma and Kevin Beary endorses Scott Sturgill for Congress

Sanford businessman Scott Sturgill has received the endorsement of Dennis Lemma, Sheriff of Seminole County, and Kevin Beary, former Sheriff of Orange County, for his campaign for Congressional District 7.

"Scott has consistently stood with law enforcement and first responders. He exemplifies the type of leadership we need in Washington for Central Florida." Dennis Lemma said of Sturgill, who is a fourth generation Seminole County resident.

"Scott Sturgill is the kind of new blood we need in Washington D.C. We need leaders who are going to work with President Trump for the American People on jobs, immigration, health care, law enforcement, and homeland security." Kevin Beary said. "I especially like his stance that a Congressman deserves the same health care that you and I get." Beary said to the special perks members of Congress receive over Obamacare.

Congressional District 7 is a Central Florida based district primarily situated in Seminole County, FL. The district covers all of Seminole County and a small portion of Orange County. Democrat freshman Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy unseated long time Republican Congressman John Mica narrowly in the 2016 General Election.

Scott Sturgill is a Sanford businessman and CEO of Durable Safety Products located in Seminole County. Sturgill is a fourth generation Seminole County native and serves on numerous charitable boards. Scott and his wife Tracy have married for 14 years and have two children.
