Scott Sturgill earns endorsements from Mayors of Altamonte Springs and Oviedo
Sanford businessman Scott Sturgill has received the endorsements of both the elected Mayors of the city of Oviedo and the city of Altamonte Springs.
Altamonte Springs Mayor Pat Bates, as well as Oviedo Mayor Dominic Persampiere have both announced their support for the fourth generation resident from Seminole County.
“Scott grew up in Altamonte Springs.” said Mayor Bates “ He is a family man and a small business owner. Scott is interested in seeing Seminole County prosper. It is important to have Seminole County represented in Congress.”
“I am honored to have the support of Mayor Bates and Mayor Persampiere, two leaders whose efforts have resulted in first class cities with great futures.” said Sturgill “When I get to Congress, I’ll work with local leaders to make sure the concerns of their constituents are being heard, and not lost in the political noise that currently dominates the conversation in Washington and Tallahassee.”
Congressional District 7 is a Central Florida based district primarily situated in Seminole County, FL. The district covers all of Seminole County and a small portion of Orange County. Democrat freshman Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy unseated long time Republican Congressman John Mica narrowly in the 2016 General Election.
Scott Sturgill is a Sanford businessman and CEO of Durable Safety Products located in Seminole County. Sturgill is a fourth generation Seminole County native and serves on numerous charitable boards. Scott and his wife Tracy have married for 14 years and have two children.
